Voices

What Past Visitors Say

Words from the artists, collectors, and creative spirits who made Lumina 2024 unforgettable.

Lumina changed the way I see public art. The light installations at dusk were something I'll carry with me for the rest of my life. Already booked for 2025.

Rena Vidal

Rena Vidal

Curator, Pacific Arts Foundation

I came for the workshops and left with five new collaborators and the most inspired I've been in years. The encaustic painting session was transformative.

Marco Belli

Marco Belli

Independent Artist, Rome

As a collector I've been to dozens of art fairs. Lumina is different — it's warm, human, and deeply intentional. I purchased three pieces and made lasting friendships.

Questions

We Have Answers

Is the festival family-friendly?

Absolutely. Children under 12 enter free with a paying adult. We have dedicated family activity areas and child-appropriate workshops throughout the festival.

Are workshops included in all passes?

Day Pass holders may purchase individual workshops on-site (subject to availability). Full Festival and Collector Passes include workshop credits — 3 and unlimited respectively.

Can I buy art at the festival?

Yes! All exhibited works are available for sale directly from the artists. Collector Pass holders gain early access to the collector preview before the public opening on Day 1.

What happens if it rains?

Most festival areas are outdoors, but we have extensive covered pavilions and all gallery spaces are fully indoor. Lumina 2025 will proceed rain or shine with adjusted programming as needed.
